DuGe Boutique Hotel

A beautiful and friendly place for a short stay in Beijing. The hotel is settled in the maze of the Hutong area and its like being transported back in time to ancient China! The staff are very welcoming. We arrived early after a night flight and they gave us a sofa and their own coats to wrap up warm in for a short nap! The room is a little basic for the price you pay but the main appeal is the decoration of the place. It's completely engulfed by Chinese tradition. TIP: Just ask the receptionist and she will teach you how to make tea the Chinese way!

There is a beautiful, clear well in the hotel, as well as facilities full of ancient Chinese cultural style, such as lanterns and dragon chairs, golden pillows, and small cups on the table. They are also very clever and very special! The room is decorated in a foreign style, and you can sit on a comfortable sofa to watch Xiaomi TV programs, or sit on a small rocker, which makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed! Moreover, the hotel staff are gentle and courteous, and often communicate with customers and help them with any difficulties. The transportation there is very convenient, and the Shichahai train station is nearby! Dining is also very convenient. The night market in Qianhai is nearby and there are many shops selling delicious food. You might as well try the mutton skewers during the barbecue season. As soon as I got up, there was a small shop nearby for breakfast. The millet porridge and beef buns there were also delicious. There are many restaurants nearby for dinner, such as Beimen Dian Butcher Shop, which is an ancient alley with majestic stone lions on both sides of the door. The mutton and vegetables inside are very fresh and delicious. The roasted mutton skewers next to the door are also very delicious! If you want to eat fruits and drink Beijing yogurt, you can find them nearby! The sweet and juicy peach will definitely make your mouth water!
