Stopped by for lunch. Beautiful hotel, beautiful gardens and gorgeous views. The lunch was perfect, made with quality ingredients. We had the soup and the treacle bannock,then the charcuterie board, finished off with a warm scone jam and cream (all delicious)The service was attentive and polite. Vishnu and Katie served us impeccably. Vishnu offered information re the history of the house and gardens and shared the fact that the garden can now supply some ingredients to the kitchen, which was all very interesting to hear. He was extremely pleasant and informative. Loved our visit and can't wait to return
We weren't quite sure what to expect but our expectations were more than met. Very friendly and helpful staff all around (from check in personnel, to restaurant staff to super kind manager). Nice and clean room. Wonderful location on Sleat and to top it all off, great dinner and breakfast. Yes, it has its price, but they also deliver and if walking through their lovely garden doesn't put a huge smile on your face, what does?
Stopped in for 3-course dinner & drinks. Food and service were impeccable, left nothing for want. And then after our dinner, we were treated to a fireside talk by an isle of skye author who spoke to us about the lore of the lands. It was magic.
