We booked here for a show at the Philharmonic, a really good location. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The Aircon was controlled by reception but a quick WhatsApp got the temperature sorted with no drama. Good shower but water does splash out but that's what the floor towel is meant for! Our first floor room faced onto Duke Street but the traffic noise was minimal. An easy recommendation

The room we had was nice, it was clean, spacious and cozy. However we were on the ground floor near the elevator, which meant we had a lot of disturbance throughout the night with people coming and going. The hotel is located really well in terms of site seeing and getting around easily, there is a bus stop close by for coming and going to the airport. The wine bar next door to the hotel is definitely recommended as well

Cute and cheap is probably the best way to describe this place. The room was clearly designed by a man. No sockets near a mirror… no toilet roll holder… no make up mirror… and no place for towels but 1 hook!! We stayed in the first room which was on a main road with a blind that didn’t fit or block out light, a window that let all noise in and air conditioning that was controlled by reception that simply couldn’t get it right so we asked for it to be turned off. The rooms are so close together that you hear every movement by every room. Seriously had NO SLEEP WHATSOEVER. The only good things about this hotel was it’s location and the staff running it. It’s probably best matched to a professional who gets up super early and overworked to the point that nothing can disturb their sleep.
