Dundar Hotel & Spa

While the room space was a bit small, we stayed in a standard room. We were satisfied with the room so did not complain. My parents and brothers were with and were not too happy with size and let management know. They immediately accommodated them and changed their rooms to bigger rooms at no extra charge! They also allowed us a very early check in at no additional charge. Breakfast was slightly different each day, variety was a bit low but food was good nonetheless! Location? Really convenient close to the grand bazaar and tram line so getting to places a bit further was no issue! Speak to Lale when you go there! She is able to recommend great tour ideas and she’s so friendly and very accommodating too! The rest of the staff there were also very great and friendly🫶🏻

We had a very pleasant experience at Dundar Hotel. The reception was warm and welcoming – we were able to leave our luggage at the front desk and go out for a walk before check-in, which was very convenient. The staff were all very kind and helpful. We asked where we could buy water, and instead, they generously offered us water for free for two days in a row. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, with plenty of juice and coffee available. Overall, I would rate this hotel 8.8/10.

It was our first stay at the Dundar hotel, and we stayed for 6 nights. We chose it because of the locality, spa facility, inclusive breakfast, and price. The first night we experienced some noise and smoking which wasn't tolerable. We didn't feel like continuing with the stay and started looking at other options. In the morning, we saw Lale for breakfast and we shared with her how we were feeling. She spoke with the proprietor; Mesut and he changed the room and reminded guests that smoking was not permitted in the building and to be mindful about noise. We needed extra pillows, an iron and kettle for the room and they arranged this straight away. The breakfast buffet was generous and set us up for the day.  The location was excellent, and we were able to get around easily. We only used the spa facilities once (too busy exploring the city!) and it was a good experience. Overall, our stay was enjoyable. The staff and customer service was good. Lale is a gem and checked in with us daily. Any queries we had about excursions or shopping, she and Mesut gave us some great advice and suggestions too. We would stay again and recommend the hotel to family and friends too.
