DUO Hotel Lisbon Curio Collection by Hilton

Hotel is great. Location on edge of all tourist areas. Rooms are great. Free activities and planned events un courtyard are very nice. But the Staff is the best part. Especially need to mention Miguel, who helped us plan our rooms and family connected rooms. Each day his smiling happy nature greeted us and asked if we needed any help. Great place. Thanks Miguel

I am not the kind of person who leaves reviews, but after what was truly an incredible stay I felt compelled to leave one for the Duo team. My partner and I checked in to the hotel the day of the massive power outage affecting multiple countries in the EU, and the Duo team made the experience so seamless and stress free. We didn’t have any cash and we could not pay with card anywhere so the hotel allowed us to keep a running tab all day. We drank wine in their lovely outdoor courtyard with lots of shade and umbrellas to keep us cool. As a diamond Hilton member, I received 2 drink vouchers that I forgot to use that day, and upon check out they honored it and took two beverages off our tab in addition to offering a complimentary glass of Porto wine. The room is one of the most spacious I’ve seen in a European hotel, and while the hotel is not particularly large, it offers an intimate and comfortable experience. The service was truly exemplary. Located on the Western side of Lisbon, it’s about a 15 minute walk to the city center and it has easy access to the Green metro line in addition to above ground trams and buses. It’s really convenient for traveling to Belém and it’s near the Time Out market. We had a lovely time, and I would gladly stay here again!

This is a beautiful hotel with excellent service in a great (though very gentrified) neighborhood of Lisbon. The only cons are around the design of the room. The front desk acknowledged our status and was very welcoming. After a walk through the beautiful courtyard, we found our rooms in a nice quiet building. The decor in the rooms was gorgeous, though I found it strange that neither room (both upgraded) had a full-length mirror. The water pressure wasn't as good as other places we stayed in Lisbon. You can only tilt the windows inward (no opening) so they are only cracked a bit...it made the room a bit stuffy in the middle of the day. I also knocked off a star on the room because of the lack of places (hooks or racks) in the bathroom to hang towels, makeup bag, and robe. Annoyingly, it's become a commonly lacking feature in many hotels. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet, since we faced the inner courtyard. The service, from the front desk to the bar to breakfast, was superb...kudos to the staff!
