This is a great hotel. Staff were friendly and professional and the hotel felt both modern and traditional at the same time. Full of character but clean and comfortable with a great location.
I only stayed a night (as I had missed the hours at the Dalí museum), so I didn’t utilize any of the hotel’s services, but the location is fantastic, the bed was comfortable and the coffee was strong, so: 5*
The Duran was nice for our overnight stay cycle touring trip and staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel’s public spaces are atmospheric and charming, and our dinner at the restaurant was very good. Bicycle storage is ok, but down the street and secure in their garage, but unusual to have to pay about €8 to park our two bicycles. The room was comfortable enough, but a little old school for our taste without any fan ventilation, so we needed to keep the windows open to the street and some old town Saturday night pedestrian noise. Note there is street construction in front of the hotel now, so it means slightly more difficult access, but a quieter car free street.
