Dwor Oliwski City Hotel and SPA

Very nice hotel with great surroundings. Staff friendly and helpful. Spa is ok with a pool. Recommend to take a walk or running/biking in the beautiful woods. Can't recommend the restaurant for dinner though. The service is impeccable, but the food doesn't live up to the expectations; portions are way too big and the execution lacks finesse. The duck, for example, was overcooked and dry, though the waiter told us it was supposed to be red. Better to have dinner in the nearby villages/towns.

It's hard to give all 5 stars for the hotel. Because there was always some issues. For example, bathrobes were with holes. Some furniture in the room looked so much used that we even were affraid to sit on it. Breakfast is good with plenty variants of healthy choise. Reception is nice and kind. Restaurant is beautiful, food is tasty. Spa - there was nothing to book for payment. No specialisrs(( Anyway it's good place for resting getaway!

Almost didn't write a review because I don't want too many people to know about this treasure. We love everything about the hotel, the service is great, the food (especially the breakfast) is outstanding. Nice (but small) indoor pool. Lovely grounds. Close to the zoo and the wonderful park at Oliwa. Travel to Gdansk or Sopot is easy by car or better still use the local trains (or even walk).
