Dyne Oceano Hotel

Overall a comfortable hotel and I love the Jacuzzi tub. Bed was big and comfortable. Alittle old in some of the fittings but everything works.

We stayed 3 nights in a huge third floor king bed ocean view room with a window front jacuzzi. By and large the service was excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the room clean. However, there were a few details in the bathroom and the room that make me think they may have skimped on refurbishment. The caulking around the sink is gone in some places and in others moldy. There is a slight odor but that's unavoidable as all of the other seaside places at least in the States seem to have one from the humidity. The bedding is great but the mattress itself is older, very hard and you can feel every single spring. Thankfully we were so tired from our daily outings that we still slept ok. Our room was one with a little seating area and the bed was not raised like in some of the pics, so maybe it's not one of the completely updated rooms. The rooftop pool is super clean and fun. It's not truly an infinity pool as there is a plastic fence blocking the ocean view from the pool a bit. The site itself is great, a few walkable businesses including black pork bbq, pasta, a gift store and even a Starbucks nearby. The walkable pier right in front is great. It's a bonus that they have a Twosome Place Cafe on the hotel main floor. We wish we had been able to book a couples massage but even after several calls, leaving our number twice and physically going down to speak in person to try to book it, we were unable to get in touch with anyone. Overall a great stay.

Nice luxurious rooms with beautiful jacuzzi in the room! But dated design. Good location Poor non flexible service Expensive plus above, hence the 1 star
