E Da Skylark Hotel

We stayed for one night with them. The window view with abandoned buildings. It’s a bit creepy at night time. However, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was fantastic. We also experienced the amusement park, shopping in outlets and the ferris wheel. We had fun and a very pleasant stay with Eda Skylark hotel.

The place was fine. I ended up here because I traveled by scooter and the weather turned rainy and cold. The place was clean and the people friendly. The place tried to be very "representative" with marble and chandeliers. My room was recently renovated with more modern false wood floor and furniture. It was clean (unless you looked in crannies and corners). The place had a lot of tour bus guests. The breakfast was a big buffet but many items were bland. I did like the yogurt and Nescafé. I paid about US$98 for the night. It turns out I could have stayed for US$ 106 in the neighboring Even higher class Royal Eda Hotel. But not sure I would have enjoyed it $8 worth more.

Rooms are extremely dated and humid. Can hear everything from the lobby even on the 7th floor. Mattresses are thin with springs and horribly uncomfortable. The comforters are barely big enough to cover the bed, let alone with someone in it, and there's no sheet, so part of your body gets to be uncovered all night, unless like we did, you buy blankets. That's right, to use the bed properly you have to go buy your own blankets. Ridiculous.
