Earl’s Regent Hotel – A Memorable Stay! The staff at Earl’s Regent were simply amazing warm, welcoming, and always ready with a big smile. The hotel’s layout and interior design? Just wow. Elegant, modern, and inviting. A special shoutout to the restaurant team they made every meal feel special. And to top it all off, they surprised me with a birthday celebration that truly made my day. Such genuine hospitality is rare to find. Highly recommend this place if you're visiting Kandy!

Rooms were lovely and clean. This was my first time visiting this hotel. I like to stay on my way into Sri Lanka and before I fly home. Special mention to Leshan who is so helpful and friendly. Very good at what he does and cannot do enough for you. Great job thank you.

This was our 2nd hotel of a 14 day trip around Sri Lanka. We stayed for one night. Beautiful foyer and lots of staff on arrival, however I had to ask what was taking so long with check in as we had been waiting about 30 minutes and no one had explained what was happening. Our room was not ready so the reception team were organizing a different room however, the hotel was under renovation so we think that was probably the issue. Our room was dated, with a renovation needed as there were lots of scuffs and scrapes to the paint work and the hall ways and carpets just didn’t give the same 5 star feel as the foyer on arrival. This has obviously been addressed as the hotel is currently under renovation. However, the towels were ripped and fraying… a review from 4 months ago also says this so it’s not been addressed. The service in the restaurant and bar was impeccable and the food was delicious so no complaints. Highly recommend the fillet steak! Beautiful. We also had room service one night and ate on the balcony, it was very relaxing and the food quality was very good. The pool was lovely and the garden area was very clean and well kept. It was a nice quiet hotel, due to the time of year. Close to the main centre and to shops. Overall a good stay.
