The room and bed were impeccably clean, which definitely made for a comfortable stay. However, I was surprised to find that breakfast isn’t included—each person pays $25, and while the meal itself is decent, the limited selection leaves something to be desired. Parking comes with an additional fee, which adds to the overall cost. And considering it’s a four-star hotel, the lack of a refrigerator in the room felt like a noticeable oversight. On a more positive note, the lobby is quite striking, featuring a waterfall and some lovely views that create a welcoming first impression.

I recently hosted a wedding celebration for my son and his wife and was pleased with the results. Stacey Rasko, Director of Catering & Corp Sales was very friendly and helpful. She made suggestions and answered any questions I had. If I called with a question she responded right away. The hotel was in an excellent location for people who were traveling in for the occasion and they were pleased with their rooms. Stacey and her team were present for the entire celebration making sure that everything was going smoothly and the food was delicious. I would recommend the Hilton East Brunswick to anyone planning an event.

I generally really like this hotel. The perfectly preserved 80s modern lobby with the 2 story free fall fountain and live plants has a ton of character, same with the large outdoor fountain. The gym was great, the store in the lobby was huge for a hotel, and a lot of the staff were friendly. The pool area was pristine. The vibe of the property felt dignified but not pretentious. The beds were really comfortable. That said there were a couple big things that really made our stay suffer. First, our room smelled musty like wet carpet indicating water damage at some point. Second, $18 to park in a garage in a suburban area with absolutely nothing immediately around it is insane. Lastly and most importantly, we saw other reviews indicating the hot tub was closed, so we called to verify if this was the case. We were specifically not only told but outright promised by the front desk that it worked, only to pull up to see an empty pit surrounded by cones. The hot tub is a huge part of why we choose our hotels and we really liked this hotel overall but especially for a flagship Hilton like this it’s unacceptable to not have a hot tub, especially when it was originally built with one that just needs some repairs. Other guests we spoke to in the pool area were furious and felt lied to, and we agreed. This is a definitely a really good hotel, but it needs to address these issues to be great. Fix your hot tub please
