I stayed in August but keep getting billed the same room on my credit since then and cannot get a hold of anyone to help so I have to continue to dispute the charges with my card. Beware! My friends and I booked two rooms at the Two Medicine Inn (same place as East Glacier Motel - they're using both names but there's only one place). My booking was for a room described as having a queen-sized bed, separate dining area, separate bedroom, kitchenette, and a mountain view. Instead I was given a tiny cabin with no space beyond a small lumpy and sagging double bed and a tiny bathroom. There was a small fridge and a coffee machine, but nowhere to cook anything. And not only wasn't there a mountain view - there wasn't any view whatsoever! My friends had the equivalent in a tiny cabin next to me. We had confirmed our rooms by text that very same day, but when we arrived a couple hours later, we found that our rooms were nothing like the description. The woman at the desk said it was because they were over-booked and had 18 families on the waitlist for rooms. Not sure if that was true, but we asked if we could get a refund and give up our rooms to someone on the waiting list since my two friends could barely even fit together in their room. She said sure - we just had to ask Expedia for the refund. We left and filed a claim with Expedia. They spent almost a week trying to contact the hotel so they could process our refund, but the hotel refused to answer the phone to confirm that we had left. Fortunately we were persistent and Expedia finally processed our refund - but I would certainly not recommend that anyone book this motel!!
Dirty, small uncomfortable beds, tv didn’t work, WiFi didn’t work or was so poor was useless. Luckily, we were only there for one night, but I feel bad for folks who reserve this place for more than one night.
