East Haugh House Hotel

We had a lovely stay at Dunfallandy House — a charming period property with tons of character and a peaceful atmosphere. Jack and Holly are incredibly friendly and welcoming hosts who went out of their way to help us feel comfortable. The house has a relaxed, niche hotel vibe with simply furnished and comfortable bedrooms. Our room was quiet and restful, with a very comfy bed and a thoughtful tea tray complete with a welcome gift of fudge — such a lovely touch! The food really stood out served in their newly refurbished, quirky bistro — a fun and memorable dining space. We enjoyed excellent pizzas and tasty, affordable bar snacks like chicken wings and fish finger sandwiches. Scottish sticky toffee pudding topped off the meal perfectly - much needed comfort food after a day in the saddle. Breakfast was delicious – both full Scottish options and salmon with avocado available - and set us up perfectly for the day. The location is peaceful and ideal for unwinding, with the historic Dunfallandy Stone just a short walk away. We couldn't help but think it would also make a great venue for small weddings. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing Highland escape with warm hospitality and great food.

Absolutely beautiful Scottish hotel, full of character and run by the lovely Jack and Iris who were so welcoming and catered to any needs. The bar was amazing, with an impressive selection of specialist whiskey’s and fun board games to play through the evening with a group. The bedrooms were clean and well kept, again full of character. Breakfast was also delicious! Such a beautiful location amongst the hills of Scotland, just a few hundred metres from The Tay. Thank you, Jack and Iris for going above and beyond with your beautiful hotel- we will be back for sure!

My mother, sister, 2 of my children and I all stayed at the Dunfallandy House in 2 separate rooms. The rooms were clean and beautiful and the hosts were very accommodating. We enjoyed walking around the grounds and exploring the area with the old Dunfallandy Stone. The breakfasts were wonderful and quite a few nights we ordered from their bar food menu. We loved the pizza, chips, and chicken wings! We didn't rent a car and took advantage of the Elizabeth Yule taxi service. Great memories were made at this beautiful house! Thank you Jack and Iris!
