A very impressive building to drive up to. We were very much looking forward to staying there. And the gardens and patio and bars and corridors In the main mansion building did not disappoint. We had booked the Hepburn block, which is a more modern extension, but that was a disappointment. The corridors were cramped and a bit grubby, and the room wasn't clean enough for my wife's tastes. We then paid to change to the mansion rooms, and were happy again. We attended a wedding event, and it went extremely well, so hats off to the organisers.
We had the most scrumptious Afternoon Tea at this venue 2 weeks ago , we sat on the patio over looking the lush gardens . When they brought the afternoon tea out it was beautifully laid out, sandwiches were delicate and delicious, scones lovely and warm and the cakes were just perfect to end a wonderful afternoon . Can’t recommend this highly enough . Thank you for the great service as well .
