Eastin Tan Hotel Chiang Mai

We had a great time in the hotel, the front desk give me a lot of useful imformatiom, it helped a lot. I will give a 10/10 for the front desk man. From the moment I arrived at the lobby, I already feel happy. And the breakfast is not many choices, but it is very interesting, and every choice is nice and yummy. The food inside is very nice, we do enjoyed it. Water in the bathroom is big which is not very common in Thailand.

Went with a family of 9 and stayed in the penthouse that consist of 2 levels. The lower level has a master room with 2 basins, a jacuzzi tub and a shower area that is very spacious. The upper level has 2 rooms, 1 with 2 single beds that comes with a decent space bathroom with a bathtub and standing shower as well. The other room is spacious with a king sized bed but with a really small bathroom. Didn’t really like how the bathroom is designed with toilet bowl facing the door, and the basin that you couldn’t even place a cup. I stayed in that room with my husband and a 2yo toddler and we were comfortable with the space except the bathroom. The whole penthouse was nice and pleasant to stay in. One thing to take note is the spiral stairways which is actually quite dangerous. The steps are like floating steps with holes in between each step, and more dangerous is the railings are not fully covered. One can really fall through those empty pockets of the railings. Even at the upper level, the railings are not fully covered so it was really dangerous for children. Hope that the management can do something about it. Breakfast choices were limited and not very fantastic. However, location is good with walkable distance to Maya shopping mall and One Nimman shopping area. Overall our family enjoyed the stay and the family time we had together. Staffs were nice and polite.

Superb location with so many places to go, to visit and to eat. There's a street food stretch just below the hotel. Might not be the cheapest but still relatively worth checking out. Maya Mall is just opposite the hotel. Had a great stay with nice clean big room.
