Eastin Thana City Golf Resort Bangkok

We weren’t planning on staying in a hotel while we were in this part of town, but we are so glad we did. This was such a wonderful discovery. The hotel is located in a tranquil area, far away from any city hustle and bustle. Perfect for a relaxing time and focus on what matters. The rooms are super comfortable, clean, functional and new. We also really enjoyed sitting in our terrace looking over the water, golf course and the local wildlife. The gym is amazing! Super huge and very well equipped. Perfect for staying a few days and focussing on fitness The food in the hotel is delicious, but the options are a bit limited. For such a wonderful hotel, I’d expect a wider range. If I would stay longer, the menu would get a bit limited very soon. Also for breakfast, I would expect a wider range of fitness related menu options to fit with the wonderful opportunities here better. Staff, very friendly and functional, yet not so hospitality focused. The style is what you would expect in a sports facility, not as much in a resort or hotel. So a bit of evolution here would make it even more perfect.

Great hotel to stay, near the airport little bit far from the center city. We always stay here and take a taxi where ever we go. Room is very nice. Clear and good size. Price quality is good. Great big quality gym. And the pool is wonderful. Massage is very good. Just a note: the food and drink prices are without service charges!!! Better is to make everting 20% up so the invoice is not a surprise. The pigeon on the tables with the breakfast is really disgusting. Please do something about this. But we love this hotel!!!!

Positive points: - Conveniently located near the airport. -Staff are highly professional, friendly, and helpful. -Breakfast is good, with a wide selection of savoury options, though the sweet/European options are limited. That is understandable, as we are in Thailand. Negative points: -The hotel advertises a free shuttle service, but it operates only at VERY LIMITED specific times (7 a.m., 11 a.m., and a few others I cannot recall). We chose this hotel for its free shuttle but were unable to make use of it, which was very disappointing. - The room and facilities feel somewhat cold and not modern. - The bed is slightly small (not a king size).
