Eastwell Manor Champneys Hotel & Spa

I’ve visited Champneys Spa Hotel at least ten times now, and every visit is nothing short of amazing. This place truly has it all. We’ve stayed overnight at the hotel, enjoyed the spa facilities, relaxed by the outdoor pool in summer, and dined there countless times — from full meals to just popping in for dessert or a lovely afternoon tea. It’s not just a spa — it’s an experience. The estate itself is stunning, with beautifully landscaped gardens and a rich historic charm that adds to the peaceful atmosphere. We’ve often come just to walk around the grounds or play tennis and even had a few games of golf — all of it surrounded by breathtaking scenery. I’ve also brought friends here many times, and it’s always a hit. Whether it’s a day out or a weekend getaway, Champneys never disappoints. We’ve even walked our dogs in the nearby surroundings — it’s just a perfect escape from city life. If you’re looking for a place to relax, rejuvenate, and truly unwind in a luxurious yet welcoming environment, Champneys is the place. Five stars, without a doubt.

Thank you we had a wonderful stay for our 1st Wedding Anniversary. The staff were all so professional, polite and attentive which made the stay feel very special. The food was very good quality and our room was beautiful and in keeping with the age of the building. The spa was relaxing and not too over crowded with plenty of options to sit and rest. It would be great to have rain forest showers and an ice room like Forrest mere and we also missed not having the usual champneys buffet style lunch although we did get a lovely cooked breakfast which is not usually included in the other champneys spas. We had a wonderful stay thank you.

Celebration night so didn’t use spa facilities. We had a set meal in a function room, which was delicious and we were looked after. Portion sizes a bit small, but tasted great. Breakfast here is fantastic. So much choice and really high quality. We stayed in the Mews cottages, which were distinctly lacking. Not as clean as expected, bed linen felt rough and the pillows were awful, just a bit shabby and needs some investment. We paid a premium price and expect a premium room. Grounds here a beautiful and loved that we had a little terrace to sit on outside the room, even if the chairs could have done with a jet wash! So nearly there, just tidy up your act with these rooms.
