The Eaton is a wonderful hotel to stay while visiting DC. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and relaxing and the location is great for getting around the city—especially by transit. I love how the hotel bars have such a vibrant night life, and that you can’t hear a thing in your room when you’re ready to call it a night. A huge thanks to Simone at the front desk for always being a bright light and for being so welcoming and joyful!
I cannot express how wonderful this property is. Every inch is thoughtfully designed and decorated. You can feel the humanity and connectedness of the mission of this company. It's a perfect spot for downtown DC. There's a wonderful restaurant/bar and a bakery/cafe. Plus, a rooftop bar (I did not visit this amenity tho) The room felt like I was visiting a family home thats so inviting, cozy, clean, and rich in all the unexpected ways. The staff is so incredible and kind in a genuine way. It feels like they really enjoy being here and providing hospitality. I feel like I made a bunch of new friends. I will be telling everyone I know to stay here.
From the service culture to the food and the genuinely above-and-beyond hospitality, I don’t think I’ll be staying anywhere else in DC from now on. My flight was canceled not once but twice on different days, and both times I was warmly welcomed back by Simone — hands down the best receptionist I’ve ever met. She was incredibly helpful in navigating the whole process, and the best former radio host/manager Von, took action. With last-minute cancellations and a busy hotel, they still found a way to accommodate me — twice. That kind of responsiveness is rare. Like many others, I came to DC for a conference, and honestly, I’m a little sad to leave. But knowing I’ll be greeted by familiar, friendly faces if I return makes it a little easier. This has been an all-around amazing experience. 10 out of 10 — would absolutely come again.
