Eco Hotel Orlando

The hotel is located on top if hill which makes the view from it beautiful and gives a feeling of being isolated on remote place. We only went there for the restaurant and the food is just amazing. Growing their own products they always have a story about each ingredients in the plate. The staff is really kind and always helpful. The rooms look amazing ans we will definitely stay there next time. Beautiful swimming pool in the center to relax after a warm day. Flowers is also important to mention as there’s plenty everywhere and well maintained. Highly recommended for exclusive experience

Orlando is a Sardinian themed, very traditional hotel. We stayed as a couple 8 nights there, 2 out of 9 days were rainy so it wasn't so bad. September is kind of cold in that region, we even got 4°C on the morning of our last day (15 sept), even if on the coast, at about 40 min drive, there were 20°C. What is cool about the weather is that the rain usually lasts a short while, then you get fully clear blue skies. It's a great deal for its price, the breakfast was excellent (having gluten and lactose free options). The staff was very kind, but keep in mind that only the receptionists know and talk English. The rest of the staff, room service, breakfast and restaurant talk 100% italian. That's actually a common thing on the island. The room was very clean, with no food inside policy which keeps the ants away, the wifi was very good in the lobby but it wasn't strong enough to reach to our room. But we didn't mind that, we actually wanted to be disconnected for a while. The food at the restaurant was good, but we didn't have meals there a lot. The pool was clean and not too crowded. The popular beaches were not too far, 50 min drive to ports such as Santa Maria Navaresse. The reason why i give 4 stars and not 5 is because the SPA area had to be paid per hour, 25€ per person in weekdays and 40€ in weekends, even if you stayed at the hotel. I understand paying for extra services like massages and treatments, but as far as I travelled, when a hotel has a SPA, just entering inside to relax in an inside pool, jacuzzi and sauna is free for those who stay there. Overall, it's not luxury and it's doesn't try to be luxury, but it was the perfect choice for us.

We arrived to the hotel, there were no hot water, and the heating in the room did not work. The room was frozen.. We have to sleep with our coats- as it is so cold. The lady at the front desk was super nice- but there was nothing to do…
