Economy Inn Cadillac MI by Hotel O

Nicer than I was expecting. Room was clean and quiet with a microwave, fridge + freezer, and good sized TV. Bed was cozy and comfortable. AC worked fine. Hot water took a minute or two to warm up but otherwise no problem. Owners were friendly. Literally zero complaints. I would return without hesitation.

The owners here are very nice. Janice "Jenny" super accommodating. Rooms are very clean. Doesn't have all the frills that larger chain hotels have but for a great night sleep, overnight sleepovers or longer visits its perfect. If ever in the area we will return.

THEY HAVE ROACHES. 5 minutes through the door and we saw a dead one on the floor and 2 more running across the floor. All the man running the front desk had to say about was that flies come in from outside... If you don't trust your instincts after that little tidbit of information and a quick google search, you'll wind up in a place like this, afraid to stay more than 5 minutes in the room and pissed off that you probably can't get your money back from whichever 3rd party talked you into trusting this disgusting mess of a place. First of all the place is rundown and it reeks. Our room had hard floors, but they had not even been swept. There were pubic hairs on the bed. The grey cloth chairs had giant black stains. The bathroom was gross and the toilet seat was falling off. EVEN THE TOILET SEAT IS TRYING TO RUN AWAY! Considering the atrociously harsh lighting in the room, there's no excuse for slacking on basic cleaning standards and missing the filthy state this room was in. I wouldn't stay in this place if it was the last place left to book in a 2 hour vicinity
