The all inclusive rooms with a kitchen and bathroom was very nice. Amenities included all kitchen equipment, A/C, and private bathroom. Some rooms were split into two parts. The pool area and beach was scenic, however it was very windy and the beach is not recommended to swim in due to the chilly wind and sting rays in the bay. We traveled to the other side of the bay to enjoy other beaches. Weak wifi is only available in the lobby area. The restaurant was adequate, as food outside the hotel is very difficult. Had a couple vegetarian options. Try to visit The Dreams resort where there a nice public beach and tour company that arranges ATV and boat rides with snorkeling and sunset yours. They were super nice and helpful, but is a little pricy. Our tour guide helped us find a local place in El Jobo that cooked great vegetarian food- ask for Soña!

The rooms are very outdated. When we visited, the pool was brown, so not thoroughly cleaned. The beach was black with seaweed as well, which is natural but impossible to sun bathe / swim in. We arrived late at night and there wasn’t even a receptionist, the gardener or random man we had to wake up showed us into a room where the beds weren’t made and the floor full of sand. Overall one of the worst experiences Ive had in Costa Rica.

I had a very poor experience here. Water stopped working twice (management was informed both times) and the issue was never fixed. It seemed there was something wrong with the booking to start with as rooms were changed multiple times. Water in the pool was dirty and the nearby beach was also filthy. Nothing was resolved and management were extremely unhelpful.
