Eden Holiday Minori

I stayed at Eden Holiday in early April with my partner, son, and parents. The rooms were spotless, and we loved the lovely terrace area that could be enclosed with curtains for privacy. Upstairs there’s a fantastic lounge area with a jacuzzi, sun beds, tables and chairs with stunning views day and night. The housekeeper was very friendly and accommodating. The port is just a 5 minute walk away, offering easy access to ferries to other towns on the Amalfi Coast. I’m also very grateful to the staff who found and kindly posted my son’s comfort teddy, which we unfortunately left behind. I would definitely recommend staying at Eden.

Nice location, rooms are dark, with terrible fluorescent lighting. Very clean but in need of renovation. There is a balcony with plastic chairs and ceiling. The terrace is partially run down. There is an extra charge for using the oven. Check-in time (14:00) and check-out time (10:00) are not traveller friendly. Owners never appear, everything done through chatting. Overall, not so good value for money.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This is an absolute scam. The Floral suite is NOT at the Eden Holiday, it is in fact in a completely different location. It’s in a dark and dingy apartment complex that from the outside looks abandoned. Once we entered the apartment, we realized the address they sent and the address of the Eden Holiday are completely different. The pictures are totally inaccurate. There is NO terrace NO jacuzzi and NO service. That’s not even the worst, this tragedy gets worse. There was a situation with one of the neighbors, and the Maria (the property manager) was rude and invasive! She entered the apartment without any warning while one of our friends was showering and scared the life out of her. Maria proceeded to scream at her while she stood there in her towel naked. A complete violation of privacy. Maria demanded €650 euros for apparent damages on the awning of the first floor neighbor (stray cigarette ash allegedly burnt microscopic holes through the tent). These claims were all hearsay and allegations from the neighbor. As we tried to work with Maria to resolve this issue, she pestered us the entire day via WhatsApp. She came to the apartment 2 more times to shake us down for the money. In the end we paid her €650 after her coming with a random man to intimidate us! We felt unsafe and it ruined our short time in Minori. If you want to come here, stay anywhere else BUT Eden Holiday. It is a shame because her colleague Alessandro was easier to work with, but it didn’t make up for Maria’s antics.
