I spent 3 nights at the Eden hotel, and was thoroughly dissatisfied, based on the advertised 4 Star rating I was expecting much more. The highlights, good location for my meetings, close to the city mall. Bad points, no gym, no restaurant (only breakfast is available), luckily the mall is under 10 minutes walk. WiFi is terrible, and none in the lobby, sink leaked,no tea/coffee, just kettle and 2 glasses. Room safe required a key on request. If I had been staying for longer I would have cancelled after my first night and found an alternative.
The ambiance in the lobby is very noisy. The receptionist talking loudly all the time and most probably opening a social media platform so loudly in a continuous way. The AC temperature in the lobby is barely felt. No smoking signs are everywhere in the lobby yet cigar smell is highly spread and so disturbing. It is better to take notice of those details to make the lobby ambiance more welcoming.
I don’t recommend if you’re a bride and need to book the lobby for your wedding day. I payed 600$ for my wedding ceremony + tips 50$ - On our arrival they need you to pay before anything else - While taking our photos with the family, one of the staff opened the door next to the shooting area for a smoke break and kept it open - Air conditioning was kept for decoration - They are only interested by the payment part. They don’t care about us feeling welcomed - The staff ate all of the ‘baklava’ that we bought to serve the wedding guests - They didn’t bother to remind us of taking the champagne bottle with hopes of enjoying it with the baklava - They gave me a bridal room with a leaking toilet each time you flush it - Very bad sound system for the music in the lobby. A phone speaker would be 10 times better
