This is a lovely place to stay, staff are fantastic! Situated in the most amazing parklands and so very quiet. The buffet breakfast was only okay, the only thing I didn't love about this place. I highly recommend this place, you won't regret it.

Stayed at Eden Oak Geelong for one night visiting Winter Glow at Adventure Park. Two adults, one child. The location was convenient and the grounds were nice, but a few things made the stay less than ideal. The room itself was fine, but the walls were really thin, we could hear other guests coming in late at night, which made it hard to get a solid sleep. Not really the hotel’s fault, just something to be aware of. The biggest downside for me though? The pillows. They were incredibly soft and offered no support at all, honestly felt like the cheapest ones from Kmart. For the price of the stay, I’d really expect better quality. Unfortunately, I woke up with a migraine from the lack of neck support and had to drive 1.5 hours home, which wasn't great. Breakfast had a decent enough spread, pancakes to microwave, scrambled eggs, bacon, fried rice, some fruit, breads, tea and coffee. Nothing fancy, but enough to fill up before heading off. Overall, for a quick overnight stay it was okay, but I wouldn’t call it a four-star experience. If they upgraded the pillows and maybe added a bit more soundproofing, it’d make a big difference.

Rooms are newly renovated, however the walls are extremely thin. You can hear everything. Don't expect to sleep in! The blinds did not cover the complete window. Lucky we only stayed one night. Didn't know there was a winding window that was open the whole night as there were no indication that it was even open. Parking was difficult as there is no allocated parking per room, so we had to park quite far away from our room...and it was very difficult to get back to our room in the dark!
