We visited Eden Roc Resort in Rhodes as part of a large celebration group and had an amazing stay! The staff were outstanding—Maria at front of house greeted us warmly, Jorge was an incredible all-around waitress, and Alexandros made top-notch cocktails at the bar. Every staff member went above and beyond. The location is stunning—right on a private beach, with clean rooms, great food, and easy access to Rhodes Old Town via nearby bus stop. There were plenty of activities, including water sports and a games room. Check-in was a bit hectic, but it was the first day of the season, so understandable. No spa room, but massages were available. Highly recommended—we’d love to come back!
We stayed at Hotel Eden Roc and the experience was average. The reception staff were friendly. Our room was fine, with comfortable beds, but some furniture and the bathroom felt a bit worn or outdated. We noticed that other rooms looked more modern, probably depending on the area of the hotel or the price paid. The restaurant didn’t convince us. The welcome was cold, and they asked us to sign the water ticket (€3.20) while we were still eating — something that happened again the next day. The food was basic: undercooked meat, frozen-tasting fish, and shrimp lacking freshness. Breakfast was also quite simple, and some fruits weren’t in good condition. On the positive side, the indoor pool and spa were nice, with 2 hours of access per day (swim cap required), and the massage we had was good. Parking costs €11 per night during low season. In summary: good reception service, comfortable beds, and decent spa access, but the restaurant and some room details need improvement. Better to eat out — there are great options nearby.
This hotel is only 4 stars for its unbelievable location. Yo7 can literally step out of the hotel and hike along the most breathtaking coastline. The rooms are clean but a bit worn in places, and the showers are a bit moldy. We paid extra for a sea view, which is indeed phenomenal, but it's also directly above the trash sheds, so this morning at 6 am our "luxury room" was the backdrop for 15 minutes of garbage removals. The bar staff (two of them) have no idea about the wine they're serving (we asked for something local, and they told us "everything is local," meaning all Spanish wine. Breakfast is acceptable but plain and overly crowded all three mornings we went there (at different times). There's also some odd customer service, like only getting water bottles or coffee packets in the room on the arrival day and odd rules at the pool. There's signs for a bar somehwere by the pool but we never found it. There's a sign in the bathroom that says there's a drought emergency (always?). There's a card in the room that says if you need anything, just call and ask, but we were told no for coffee, water, and restaurant reservations (they said "it's too late to make reservations" but when I called a restaurant immediately after that they acceptable our reservation). So, 3 stars hotel, but hardly 4.
