Dedicated, polite and enthusiastic staff. Newly built, spacious, sparkling clean and magnificently decorated, sound-proof room. Confortable bed for a good night. Lots of free activities (pickleball, golf, tea-time) and free bus shuttle to places nearby. The buffet breakfast is amazing too. In overall an overwhelming experience, really worth the price. We look forward to being back soon.
The villas are beautiful, the service was nice and food was surprisingly cheap. I was expecting them to capitalize on the exclusive location. Free shuttle to the lighthouse was also very convenient. The only downside are bathrooms in the master bedrooms have a horrible foul smell coming from the drainage. We had 2 villas, both master rooms have the same problem
Upon first arrival and checking-in, I have a five star feel for this resort. We were treated to high tea in the afternoon between 2.30pm to 4.30pm and we enjoyed it. My five stars feel slowly diminished when I realised that the water flow was trickling into the huge bathtub and it took a super long time for it to be filled. I informed the reception and the technical staff came to remedy. Their solution was merely “this is the normal flow.” The electric safe was already locked upon check in, which makes me unable to keep my valuables inside. On the last day of morning breakfast, the restaurant, which has normal buffet breakfast, did not have anything prepared. It became an ala-carte menu instead of a buffet style breakfast. From here, my 5⭐️ drastically dropped to 1⭐️. Management has to inform customers of this change before should they want to change from a buffet to a menu style order. Customer’s expectations were not met at all and we were truly disappointed. Saving resources perhaps due to low capacity is a good thing, but doing such change without informing customers is killing their business. I am surprised that Management would rather save some money than to have more 5⭐️ review. This is most probably the first and only stay I have with Edensee and I will look out for other competitor resorts nearby who doesn’t resort to treating their customers like so. My 5 stars review became a 1 star review at the end of this stay. Due to the service recovery of the resort manager, I have changed to a three star review. 👍🏻
