Edit Hanmer Springs

We have just returned from a two night stay here (we got the stay one night, get one night free deal) and had a really great time. The location was perfect, everything in walking distance! Rooms were clean and spacious, bed comfortable and great to have a heater. Breakfast was fine. We loved sitting in front of the fire at the end of the day playing card games. Impressed with the staff, we will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here at room 355 . We were impressed with the hotel and the room itself . The staff were equally helpful that night. The room itself is great , decent size for 2 and the king bed was great to have . Unfortunately the room could do with some small upgrades like marks and paint and the decor itself but served us well. The grounds are well kept but it can be difficult to navigate at night as the lighting is limited. Location is excellent right on the main street and a very short walk to the thermal pools and main shops .

Room was well sized, water pressure was hard and warm. TV sucked it didn't work very well. The heaters are something from the 80's super outdated and not really effective, except for the random bathroom one. The shower is a bath/shower and could probably use an upgrade. But that heater had serious power. We could everyone in the hallways going up and down the stairs and we could hear our adjoining room all night with there TV on. There was a balcony but they have latched it closed so that you can't go outside.to see the views.
