Signor Alessandro is just an incredibly kind person, a very good manager and a diligent landlord. He tries to help in literally everything that we asked him for and what we were just going to ask for :) When I almost died of fear for the car (we parked on a narrow street in a very wide sports car, and the other cars could hit our car), he arrived almost half an hour earlier than the agreed time to help us get into the guarded garage faster. By the way, if you want a secure paid convenient parking, it is better to inform Signor Alessandro 1-2 days before arrival. It is extremely comfortably located, right under the apartment, and you can be completely calm for your favorite car. There is also a free public parking lot at the side of the house (15 meters from the apartment), the military is on duty there around the clock (the neighboring building belongs to the court), but it is therefore more difficult to find a place there, and there is some risk for large cars precisely because of the size of the roadway. We parked in a paid garage and are very satisfied with the service! Signor Alessandro has a very, very clean apartment, a comfortable bed with good pillows and snow-white linens, and even two types of pillows! For the first time in Italy, my ears and neck did not hurt from the fact that there are only typical hard Italian pillows, but there are also soft European ones available :) It is also convenient for the elderly that the apartment is located on the ground floor, and you do not need to go down or up the stairs at all. The apartment has a coffee machine, coffee, tea, dishes and even a great hairdryer under the sink (long hair dried in 4 minutes). The Vatican and the Castle of St. Angelo are 10-15 minutes on foot, and there are many cafes and restaurants around. We highly recommend it, and we will be glad to come again :) Greetings Tatiana, Wolfgang and our Mercedes SL :)

I highly recommend this apartment. There's really nothing negative, except perhaps that the shower is a bit small. But that would be splitting hairs. The bed is super comfortable, there's a microwave, and even cutlery and a small coffee maker are provided. The air conditioning is great, and even with outside temperatures of 35-36 degrees Celsius in the shade, it's a great place to sleep, as it cools down so much. There's a manual blind on the window, meaning you can completely darken the apartment, which makes sleeping even more comfortable. There's a heater in the room for the winter, but we didn't need it. There's also a table with two chairs. The bathroom is small, but perfectly adequate for two people. There's a free city parking lot next door. It's right next to the Rome Courthouse and is guarded 24 hours a day by the military (with weapons). There were always at least two soldiers present, and sometimes two additional guards during the day. This means the parking lot is extremely well protected. Anyone trying to break into cars wouldn't be deterred by the expensive garages. It couldn't be better. Since I rely on good parking when traveling, this is a definite plus for me. You can sleep well at night; it's definitely quiet. There's a supermarket nearby and a good bus connection into the city. You can also walk to the metro in about 20 minutes, although the bus connection in Rome is so good that you can skip the metro altogether. The price of the apartment is absolutely unbeatable. We started our road trip at Lake Garda and traveled via Bergamo, Milan, Pisa, and Piombino before finally ending up in Rome. In my opinion, this is the best place we've stayed so far.

The room was reasonably clean and nice, with all the basic amenities of a B&B. Alessandro is a super kind and helpful host. The location is good for the metro (just 15 minutes from Ottaviano) and excellent for the Stadio Olimpico (a half-hour walk takes you to the stadium entrances). Excellent public transport links thanks to Piazzale Clodio. Quiet and liveable area.
