Eggerhof Ferienhaus

We were there for the second time this year and we really enjoyed it both times. As mentioned in other reviews, the apartments are simply furnished and some renovations would have been nice, but we still didn't miss anything. We felt very comfortable. We could always contact the landlady if we had any questions. The location is great, and this certainly won't be the last time we stay.

We stayed with our daughter's family (with two small children) for a week over Christmas in the Steiner-Perhab family's holiday home. Everything was fine. Wonderful views of the Planai or the Dachstein massif. Well-equipped kitchen, nice living room with a round table. Good starting point for cross-country skiers (the trail is practically on the doorstep) or skiers. We all felt very comfortable. Many thanks also to the very friendly hosts Eva and Willi (who used his tractor to free our car, which was stuck in the snow).

Der Eggerhof liegt sehr ruhig, abseits der Hauptstraße und damit ist ein erholsamer Schlaf garantiert. Das Highlight für Kinder sind die Tiere. Zwei Ponys, zwei Esel, sowie freilaufende Hühner, Enten, einige Hasen in einem großzügigem Gehege, eine Katze und ein Hund laden zum streicheln und nach vorheriger Absprache zum Füttern und Striegeln ein. Darüber hinaus gibt es Schaukeln, eine Rutsche, ein Trampolin und noch einige andere Dinge. Die Wirtsleute sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Eine schöne Grillstation darf benutzt werden. Abstriche sollte man bei der Unterkunft in Kauf nehmen. Das Apartment (wir hatten Nummer 2) ist zwar großzügig gehalten, aber sehr einfach. Alter Herd, alle Kontrollleuchten ohne Funktion, Kühlschrank ohne Licht und nicht funktonierende Abzugshaube muss man akzeptieren. Das Bad ist sauber und mit Dusche. Genügend Haken für Handtücher sucht man wie in fast allen Ünterkünften vergeblich. Die kann man aber auf den Wäscheständer auf dem Balkon mit schöner Aussicht hängen, zumindest im Sommer. Der Belag auf dem Balkon ist in die Jahre gekommen. Wer also nicht auf Selbstversorgung angewiesen ist und keinen Wert auf eine gehobene Ausstattung legt, findet hier eine Unterkunft in idyllischer Lage.
