Highlight of our trip! We came for a family reunion and had an AMAZING time. We played several games against each other that were so fun. We had an amazing dinner afterward. Highly, Highly recommend! The gentleman who conducted the games were top notch!
The castle itself is interesting. It's run by a foundation as a restaurant, educational center and hotel. There are a limited number of modern, well decorated, hotel rooms. The wifi, in our room, was poor; however the cell phones had a decent signal so we worked off that. The half board option is a very good deal. The dinner wait staff was composed mostly high school students who were well intentioned, but just learning the trade. The bike ride from the Mosel River bike path is little traveled and probably around 9% grade. The first ramp is by far the steepest and it levels out at the top. Overall it's a wonderful place to stay.
Loved this place. So much fun. Decent food and beer. Great hosts.
