Eiger Mountain & Soul Resort

Second time staying here and had an amazing week! The room was lovely and spacious & had a nice balcony looking over the street and the Eiger mountain. Great entertainment on a Wednesday evening for the street party. Barry’s did a wonderful selection of food and the staff were lovely! Reception staff were very kind and always asked how our day was when returning to the hotel. Owner came round every morning to see how we were doing which gave a great start to each day. Breakfast selection was delicious and was always plenty to choose from. Can’t wait to come back again soon! 😊

Our experience at Eiger Mountain & Soul Resort was truly exceptional from start to finish. The location is stunning, with breathtaking mountain views that instantly put you at ease. The entire atmosphere of the resort is peaceful, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and connection with nature. What really made our stay memorable was the **incredible staff**. Every team member we interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely caring. From reception to the restaurant, everyone went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and valued. Their attention to detail and personal touches made a big difference. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and beautifully styled with a mix of modern comfort and alpine charm. This resort is a perfect retreat for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting with exceptional service. We can’t wait to come back.

Pros: - This hotel has a good location to be central to everything in Grindelwald - Everyone at the front desk was amazing and helpful - spacious room (in the comfort room) with a somewhat separated lounge space - included mini bar was helpful for a late night treat - restaurant downstairs was good (would recommend making a reservation though) - the gym looks pretty nice - front desk picks up the phone right away and addresses any questions Cons: - if you go during the summer, they have a summer festival once a week and there is loud music playing from a stage right in front of the hotel from 8-midnight. - there are two accessible outlets in our whole room with none near the beds - no air conditioning, though they did give a fan (was hard to find somewhere to plug it in) - bathroom door is clear glass (maybe not ideal if you aren’t with your partner/spouse) - of note, there isn’t continuous elevator access to all rooms so you will likely need to be able to carry your luggage upstairs (the host was kind enough to carry my heavy bag) Overall, I would say it is a pretty nice hotel, just doesn’t feel worth what I paid
