Eight Venezia

This review is long overdue but OMG I can’t compliment this place enough!!! Everything is as spectacular from the rooms, to the staff, especially the breakfast!!! And let’s not forget the Dyson hairdryer in the room! So clean, so beautiful and the location was incredible. It was so centrally located but not in a crowded place. Giovanni was the best part of this hotel!! He made our stay so special and really went above and beyond to make special accommodations and reservations for us. He even had the St. Regis give us a special dessert at dinner for our anniversary. I can’t say enough wonderful compliments. Please stay here. You won’t regret it!!!

We had a great experience, especially during our morning breakfasts. Alessia from the restaurant remembered our usual dishes and drinks. For instance, she would bring us hot water with lemon before we even asked for them. (There were 3 of us and she remembered what we like to order.) Excellent service! All the front desk and concierge staffs were very helpful as well, whether it was about booking opera tickets or airport transfers. Just a side note, it would be much better if the pre-booked driver would have the hotel name on the pick up sign at the airport. Thank you for the amazing services!

This place is great! The location is really close to a late night gelato place. The front desk staff was very informative, giving us an introduction to the building and our suite. The rooms are newly renovated and have all the bells and whistles including a towel warmer. Would strongly consider staying here if it’s your first time in Venice (versus the other islands if you’re returning). Extra bonus is a coin-op laundry a short few minutes walk away.
