We recently attended a wedding here late March. The bush chapel set up was great. The reception area was amazing overlooking a beautiful lake and looks fantastic in the evening with the festoon lights out staff. The wait staff at the reception were very attentive. And the food was nice. Not amazing but pleasant. We also stayed at the venue in a chalet, sharing with another couple. The chalets were spotlessly clean. I contacted them after we left as I had left some toiletries in the bathroom by mistake and they mailed them to me, I just paid the postage which was helpful and saved me being new products. I can’t show photos as it wasn’t my wedding, but a nice place to get married.
We had our wedding here at the beautiful Eight Willows Retreat and it was perfect! The wedding planning team helped me truly make sure the day was perfect, although there were many details to sort out, they helped make the process simple and seamless. The ceremony location we used was the Bush Chapel which is absolutely gorgeous and the reception venue was fantastic. All the staff we very helpful and kind, the venue was beautiful and the rooms were very nice. Thank you for the unforgettable experience!
Felt this experience was really overpriced - room was nice enough but lacked the amenities and service that you could expect for the price point (particularly the inflated price on long weekends +$500 per night). Can see how it would be a nice venue to stay if attending a wedding/in a big group but not the best chalets for a couples weekend away. We unfortunately got a chalet that faced two others, which took away from the feeling of privacy and sanctuary in nature (particularly when other guests played very loud music). Could also hear the doors being opened and closed of the neighbouring chalet (shared wall).
