Great bed and breakfast style Quinta perched just above Sintra’s historic district. This Quinta features a heated pool with a gorgeous view of the valley. On a clear day you can see the ocean. We were welcomed by Armie, a delightful, warm hostess. This property serves breakfast and dinners (reservations required). Our dinners were tasty and beautifully prepared. We enjoyed Salmon Wellington, Adobe Pork, Ravioli & Veal in a pastry. Highly recommend this property for couples or small groups. The only “con” possibly is location. It is located on the road leading to Castelo dos Mouros & Pena Palace. The road is one way heading up to those sites. We were quite tired after our day so we required a taxi ride back to the Quinta. Taxis are available at train station. But we waded thru Sintra traffic which can be quite lengthy. Not a big deal just know that when planning your day trips.

This place is a jewel, you definitely can walk to National Palace of Pena and they offer parking. The owner, Constance is very attentive and nice, her demeanor and way she treats you from the beginning is so peaceful that makes you feel at home. The rooms are very nice and clean. The materials used on the building are high quality. The AC unit works like no other in Europe, which is rare on your typical property 10 stars!!!

A little slice of heaven. Comfy room with spectacular views of the Pena Palace, beautiful gardens and a pool among the granite boulders overlooking the sea. A beautiful 3 course dinner upon request and fee cooked by Armie. Two friendly dogs. Loved it!
