This is a beautiful place. Bungalows arranged in two or three “streets” in country surroundings. A couple of pools in walled gardens. Our room was huge. We’d have been happy to spend a few days here if we were the sort of people who had the time and just liked to laze about or walk in the Donana. Just avoid the breakfast unless it’s included in the rate, as it’s not up to standard.
At first you wonder where you have landed ... until you discover the cosy confort of these little houses and ... the quite hidden paradisiac swimming pool area !!!
On the website it is listed as a 4 star hotel, but I wonder how this is possible. Upon arrival the reception was closed, we had to call a telephone number displayed on the reception door and wait for the receptionist to arrive for check-in. The girl then accompanied us to our room which had no air conditioning and only a ceiling fan. The room is beautiful and large, with a fireplace, period furniture and an external terrace. The structure has neither a bar nor a restaurant, unfortunately the first town is located about 4 km away. Unattended breakfast, so if something is missing from the buffet you have to wait for someone to arrive to ask. I don't want to rage further, but there would be many negative comments, which have already been indicated in other reviews prior to mine. Honestly, even though I am a person who adapts easily, I would not be able to recommend a stay in this place.
