We have stayed here multiple times over the years and it is always excellent. The entire property is so lovely. We visited the first weekend in August. Fall of 24 the hot tub was out, but this time all the hot tub & pool area was working. We visited multiple days with our tens and we all loved soaking & swimming. Rooms were both excellent, great for traveling with our dog. People who were awesome were Amy (I think at check in) and Julio & Victor in valet. I had an annoyance in valet early one morning trying to retrieve my car to go fishing at 0630, and your young man on night audit (sorry I can't remember his name) went above and beyond to help me.
What an absolute magical gem. We came to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and weren't disappointed. Rooms: The rooms were impressive -- comfortable furniture, beautiful doors and framing, massive shower, a nice fireplace, and a little patio that overlooked a koi pond. The bed was a tad firm for my taste, but that's such a personal preference thing (it's impossible to please everyone). Grounds: Absolutely spectacular. Well kept, magical, and enchanting. It's a very centering space, mixing luxury with nature. Staff: Warm, friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed all of our interactions. Pool/Greenhouse: What a special area. It was so unique to mix a greenhouse "jungle" with a pool area. We loved sitting in the humidity and enjoying a beverage from the Anaconda bar. I also appreciated little touches like access to water everywhere (both bottled and fruit infused), the ability to text the concierge, a shuttle around town, and morning yoga sessions. We'll absolutely be back, hopefully many times. Thanks for a memorable weekend!
Everett was the highlight of our stay, and his friendly nature and warm smile was delightful. We stayed in room 12, which was nice but not having a mini fridge was a bummer, causing us to be unable to keep our beverages cold and having to throw away our leftovers because we did not have any way to safely store them. The grounds are peaceful and beautiful, the piano music played by an older gentleman was a lovely addition to the ambience. We liked the art throughout the property, We really enjoyed the billiards room upstairs, which has a 9ft table, nice lighting, comfortable seating and a great book collection. Greg helped us at the bar and he was wonderful, the cocktails were excellent, and the food was very good. The sinks and shower in the pool area were having issues and would wildly spew water in all directions, other than that the pool area is also lovely. Thanks for the relaxing stay, we will definitely be back!
