El Môderne Hotel Urban & Unique

Perfectly located hotel for exploring Gijón. Pablo welcomed us and gave us a map and some great recommendations to make the most of our quick stay. Pablo recommended 4 siderias/restaurants, and we managed to visit 3 out of 4! Rooms were beautifully finished and Pablo also gave us a quick history of the building which was very interesting. Unfortunately the room didn't have a fridge, which was a shame but the room ambience more than made up for it!

A hotel that tried too hard to be cool. Very dark corridors and gym was totally black so not great for working out. Bed was comfy and room was clean. Reception staff not very friendly but hotel in good location with restaurants nearby. Parking wasn't included and was in a multi story a block away.

Decent hotel. No parking on site, although lots nearby. Front desk service was nice. Air conditioner is no good. Breakfast needs and upgrade, i don't recommend getting it as there are plenty of good options near by. -edit for reply.- lol, we did call the front desk to ask about the air conditioner. we were told that there was nothing wrong with the system, we just had to close the windows. the window were not open. we asked for a fan and were told that none were available. we still made the most of the situation given the discomfort. what makes you think that i would not have complained to the hotel staff? weird response to be honest. 1 point off.
