El Presidente Acapulco

It's the third time that we stay here, but the worst experience we've had. It seems as if the hotel has been left unattended for quite some time. The service at the reception and valet parking was fine, the staff was very friendly, but once we got to our room, things weren't too great. First of all, the room smelled like a dirty mop and was quite filthy in general. Secondly, the air conditioner is very old and we were never able to lower the temperature, so it was a bit hot throughout both day and night. Moreover, there was no Wifi (we were given a password but were never able to connect)and there was no safe (for valuables). Lastly, the hotel does have a great location and has a lovely view, but it's definitely not worth the price we're paying. It's a shame that they've left this hotel so unattended, it used to be my family's first choice when coming to Acapulco and a nice experience, but if things don't change, we're probably not coming back. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that they charge for parking too. It definitely needs some maintenance.

Great location and view from the room. However, none of the employees care about giving us a great experience. They are not friendly. Although people arrive before check-in time, you are not allowed a bracelet and pool access while you wait as other places do. Only 1 sheet per bed to cover yourself. We asked for a blanket, and they said no, you already got your 1 sheet to cover yourself!

Do yourself a favor and don't come here. The rooms are nothing like what you see on the pictures, air condition works loudly all the time, towels are old and dirty (same with linens), there's no hot water and the tv doesn't work either. In resume, the cost is too high for what you are going to get, the view to the sea does not compensate the lack of maintenance. I would recommend not to pay with card as refunds are imposible. They wouldn't allow you to see the room before paying and now I know is because you would get out of there running.
