El Priorato De Trespaderne

The house was simply stunning as well as the room. The service was wonderful. We love it so much that we decided to go get food to eat on the balcony for dinner. Was a little out of the way, but totally worth it. Only thing I would improve would be the sofa bed..as it was the best, but our slept well anyway.

Such an amazing hidden gem in the middle of the province of Burgos. So peaceful and unique, we would love to stay there forever. The interiors are high class, the rooms are a delight, with all you need to disconnect and relax and a beautiful breakfast with fresh produce and local pastries. And the cherry on top of the cake is the lovely Dora, it was such a delight to talk to her. I seriously recommend this rural accommodation full of surprises.

You feel like you are staying in a family home in this stunning conversion of an old priory. It has featured in architectural magazines. We stayed two nights before returning to the ferry from our main holiday destination. The whole building is stunning, the communal areas are beautifully decorated and relaxed, the rooms the same as well as having very large comfy beds. The staff are friendly and helpful and gave us recommendations on places to visit. The area is full of history and an impressive natural setting. The pool and pretty terrace were wonderful to cool down in, at the end of the day. It is worth coming to this little explored part of Spain just to stay in this gem of a hotel.
