Cosy authentic Spanish hotel in beautiful area. Very friendly owners and staff, nice and clean rooms. Also dog-friendly. Good breakfast and restaurant menu dishes. We stayed for 2 nights travelling from the South of Spain up north. We did a beautiful riverside walk with lots of shadow areas which were welcome. I recommend this place.
The purpose was to visit las Hoces del DURATON. Unfortunately the rainy weather prevented the .birds to fly. La Posada is well situated for hiking,.beautifully surrounded by nature. The dam is accesible by stairs offering a breath taking view.
We went for lunch here, the restaurant is nice however it is opposite a cement factory so outside is very dusty and noisy. I would not like to stay in this hotel overnight.
