Highly recommended "casa rural" in a breathtaking setting amid the wild beauty of Sierra de Gata. This is one of Spain's hidden gems, nested in the hills of northern Extremadura. Fermin and Juanjo were enchanting hosts. And the dark, starry skies at night were the cherry on top.

Luxury in a lovely rural setting.

Let's see, without any hard feelings, and with the hope that things will improve. The complex is very nice; it's spacious, tidy, quiet, and ideal for relaxing. Our spacious and tastefully decorated room, which is appreciated for three adults, is a welcome sight. The bathroom adapts to the needs of any guest. However, its location is where it says it is regarding the distance from Villamiel, but access is narrow and complicated. This fact should be better specified. Two vehicles in both directions cannot enter; it's a 1.7 km concrete country road. The kitchen and cleaning service could be improved. It shouldn't be limited to just making beds; the bathroom cleanliness needs to be reviewed. The replacement of paper towels and soap shouldn't be requested; simply a routine inspection of items should be sufficient to meet the daily needs of that specific space. Breakfast should also be improved. Offering alternatives such as local cold cuts, pastries, cookies, and juices would be a significant improvement, as would offering a simple buffet, eliminating the need to keep ordering items. This would be especially important considering the spacious dining room. Finally, the pool area is an attractive feature, but it's not desirable to find the cleaning robot at the bottom of the pool, stopped, with leaves and insects in the water. We hope this opinion will be analyzed from a constructive perspective. This feedback was written with that in mind.
