elaya hotel vienna city center Trademark by Wyndham

We had a wonderful stay in Vienna thanks to this hotel. It is perfectly situated in the city center just off the main streets, very easy walking distance to anything in the center and even across the river. The rooms were clean and comfortable and quite spacious for what we typically see in Europe. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again!

Stayed here with a friend for 3 nights and we loved the location, it was unbeatable! Close to several public transit spots, near several bars and restaurants we went to as well. Service from the staff was impeccable, everyone was helpful and kind during g our stay. Despite being in the center of the city, it was quiet at night too.

The rooms were clean, tidy, and had very comfortable beds. Reasonably sized for a city center hotel, and in a great location (although that means people will occasionally be loud in the street in the evening). Continental breakfast was 20 Euro each, so we never tried it, but it was available and looked and smelled good. The HVAC system was totally non-operational. Cooling down the room was only possible by opening the window, which was okay for our March visit, but would be a problem in the summer. The electrical wiring was also odd. All lamps were on the same switch in the entry and living space, as well as one of two of the bedside outlets. The lamps did not have switches, so in order to charge a phone or use a medical device overnight, you have to unscrew the light bulbs from the bedside lamps and sleep with the entry lights on. Overall, it was a fair experience, but some minor improvements by the hotel could make it an excellent one.
