Electra Kefalonia Hotel & Spa

We had the pleasure of dining at the Electra Kefalonia Hotel & Spa, and it was truly one of the best meals we’ve had on the island. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, with impeccable service and a warm welcome. The food? Absolutely outstanding. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully plated, and full of vibrant Mediterranean flavors. It was clear that the chef pours skill and passion into his cooking. The ingredients were fresh and each bite was better than the last. Whether it was the delicate seafood, the perfectly cooked meat dishes, or the creative use of local herbs and olive oil, the meal exceeded all expectations. The desserts were just as impressive, rounding off a perfect evening. If you’re visiting Kefalonia and appreciate top-quality cuisine in a stunning setting, don’t miss the chance to dine at Electra. It’s not just a meal — it’s a memorable experience.

We’ve been to Kefalonia before but this was our first time at the hotel and all we can say is WOW! Beautiful views, incredible staff who is helpful and pleasant, and amazing food! 2 days into our stay, we had an issue with our room and the manager immediately took care of it and seamlessly had us moved. The pool is never too crowded but still social enough. The bus can take you into Argostoli or Lassi for 2 euros or taxis are available for about 25 euros. The staff member named Thanasi was happy to take care of us, remembered our coffee orders in the morning, and gave excellent service. Always a smile on his face! Truly, all the staff. I’ll also mention that the spa was beautiful, clean, and very relaxing. If we come back to the island, we will be staying here again without a doubt!

We stayed at Electra Kefalonia Hotel & Spa for one night as a couple and truly enjoyed our experience — we only wish we had stayed longer! The hotel is beautifully located right by the sea and very close to the airport. While you can occasionally hear planes landing, it doesn’t disturb the peaceful atmosphere. The hotel is clean, stylishly designed, and the staff is absolutely wonderful — always smiling, polite, and happy to assist with any request. Since our flight was in the afternoon, we asked for a late checkout, and they gladly accommodated us. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a beautiful sea view. The bed was cozy, the shower was large, and the minibar offered complimentary drinks for guests. The spa facilities are excellent and include both dry and wet saunas, an indoor pool, and massage treatments (which were very pricey) Dinner at the hotel felt like dining at a fine restaurant — the service was exceptional and the food was absolutely delicious! The only downside we experienced was during breakfast. Some of the food items, especially the vegetables, ran out and were not replenished promptly. I had to ask twice and still didn't receive a response. However, this was a very minor issue compared to the overall amazing stay we had. We highly recommend this hotel and would love to return in the future!
