😊 Great Stay – Clean, Friendly, and Pet-Friendly! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay at Microtel in Pigeon Forge. The room was impressively clean and smelled fresh, even though it was a pet-friendly room. Housekeeping clearly does an excellent job. Customer service was outstanding. The gentleman who checked us in was incredibly kind and even shared some great local dinner recommendations (I wish I could remember his name!). At checkout, Ashley was equally warm and friendly—she left us with a great final impression. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. While it wasn't anything fancy, it offered a solid variety: biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage links, toasted bagels with cream cheese and jam, fresh fruit, oatmeal, cereals, and yogurt. Though our preferred hotel near The Island was fully booked and didn’t have pet-friendly options, Microtel stepped up and delivered a comfortable and welcoming experience. ☹ Two small cons: 1. I wish the pool had been open 24 hours. 2. The coffee could be much better! ☕

The room was okay had a musty smell. I loved the window seat, bed was comfortable ! The staff was friendly. Breakfast Bar was good! We didn’t use daily clean up service. Front desk guy was very friendly. We will stay here again.

Service non-existent. Our room was disgusting. It was a pet friendly room but smelled overwhelmingly like mildew and body odor. There was a large stain on the couch, our socks were filthy from the floor. We never even used the shower as that didn’t look very clean either. This room needs a deep cleaning Location was great. Had we not been there for less than 12 hours we’d have asked to switch. That being said there’s no staff overnight, and we left at 630 am. No staff at desk at checkout. We had to pay a dog fee for our small dog in a room that obviously has not been used for extra cleaning. He needs a bath after even being there. Very disappointed in the lack of care despite otherwise good reviews.
