We had a wonderful stay at Elephants Eye, for three nights in april 2023. The place is very charming, the tented chalets were clean and comfortable with good beds and furniture, along with good bathing facilities with a view over the savannah. We were met by a highly professional and friendly staff with a great sense of humor. The service was just absolutly great. The food was delicious, breakfast with fruit, coffee, juice, bread, sausages, bacon and the best scrambled eggs I have ever had. Lunch was prepared by the kitchen and served by our guide while on game drives, and every evening a beautifly assembled three course dinner, with just the right components to lift our spirit and our senses, making the perfect end to each day. We especially enjoied the game drives with our guide Cleopas in Hwange and at the estate. We had a good talk about the things we were most interessed to see before we drove, and Cleopas would stop at any place of interest, stop the motor and talk about the things at hand, whether plants or trees, insects, birds or larger animals, giving us alot of information and just the right amount of time to take photos and ask questions. We covered alot of ground with many stops and got to experience the spectacular wildlife in a way we will never forget. Elephants Eye gets a full house. We will be back!
