Me and my friend has the best 2 weeks staying at Hotel Eliso Parks, we are very sad to be leaving. There is so much to say about this place! The staff are the friendliest people and we were always met with grace and smiles. They did everything to make our stay perfect and we can’t thank them enough. The reception staff, the restaurant staff and cleaners, you are gorgeous people. We went full board, getting breakfast and dinners. The breakfast was a buffet style, offering a great range of cold and hot options, as well as fruit. The coffee was delicious and loved that you could make it yourself - as I like my coffee quite milky! For the dinners, you pick from 3 courses for the first meal and the same for the second meal - giving you options to try new things each day! The food was cooked fresh and high quality, felt like a 5* meal every night. The chef did an amazing job and we appreciate the effort that went into everything. We left feeling stuffed every night, which we was worried about after reading reviews that some people left hungry and felt the sizes were too small. That is nonsense unless you’re greedy…you even get deserts every night! The room was great and had everything we needed, we loved the vintage Italian vibe. The beds are a bit firm but was not too bad. You don’t get a kettle which at first was a little sad, although we wouldn’t have needed it as coffee is gorgeous in Italy! Would not fault them. The cleaners cleaned everyday and replaced towels when you wanted. We didn’t pay for a balcony, although there is a terrace at the top which we used a lot to dry clothes and watch the sunset, the best spot for it!! The pool area is perfect and was never busy, we always got a bed and it was a perfect spot to chill on a more relaxed day. They have a shower next to the pool and toilets. As well as a little bar if you wanted to grab a drink or snack! We chilled here a lot and it made our holiday, the heat was crazy so having this was a dream. The location is perfect! Near so many shops, restaurants, the pier and sorrento. Walking distance to everything which we loved. There is a shuttle bus that you can catch right outside, it’s also free and takes you straight into sorrento - a game changer if you wanted to save on steps (especially in the heat). I am going to miss this place, the people and the food. Thank you again to everyone who made our stay the most memorable and welcoming. Would massively recommend - especially if you’re a young adult wanting a more affordable place to stay with all the amenities. Be nice and you’ll receive it back. That simple. Jess & Bartek x
We stayed here for 11 days and had a good time. The hotel is clean friendly, and staff would do anything for you. The hotel has 60 odd rooms some with view onto the pool and some do not have a balcony. Our room was spacious and did not have a balcony, which did not matter to us. The hotel is approx. 20 min walk from Sorrento town. Breakfast is buffet style with fully cooked and continental options. Dinner is 3 course meal you choose in the morning at Breakfast as to what you would like to eat for dinner. Albeit a good time was had there by us. Keep up the good work. :-)
During our 7-day stay we were made to feel very welcome by all the staff. Experience staying here should be based on expectations - read on for a honest review. We really loved our stay, and would happily return. In this small hotel the rooms are simple, well presented and clean, with a bathroom. Italian beds are hard and rooms tend to be single beds, sometimes pushed together as a double. Rooms with a balcony or roof terrace have chairs and a table. Outdoor views differ depending on which side of the hotel you are on. Rooms have WiFi, a TV and a small fridge, but don't expect things like a kettle, tea and coffee. There are limited plug sockets, so adapters with charging ports or an extension lead are worth packing. The bathrooms mainly have baths with a tap/shower head, a basin, toilet and bidet. There was also a hairdryer. The hotel has an outdoor pool, but this is only open during the summer. The restaurant offers half board of continental breakfast where you help yourself. There is enough variety of bread, pastries, meats, cheese, fruit, yoghurt, cereal etc for a small establishment, plus juice, tea and coffee. You select your evening meals at breakfast from a small selection (3 first courses and 3 second courses), plus dessert. The menu changes daily and is based on local dishes. We enjoyed all the meals. The portions are small, but dishes are well cooked. If you want a lot of choice, big portions, fast or processed food, you won't find it here. The hotel has a small bar for the evenings and when the pool is open, an outdoor bar area. Italian hotels charge a local tax, payable separately, so budget for this. Drinks are charged to your room and payable the evening before you check out. You are asked not to bring in food to eat in the hotel or your room. Get out and enjoy the local eating places. You will find it hard to miss Il Ruttini restaurant around the corner, and they will call out to you to welcome you in. It's well worth a visit, the food is lovely and the prices reasonable, with large portions. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from Sorrento centre, and is situated on a quieter side road off the main Corsa Italia, which is very busy. You need to be aware of traffic, and use the crossings. Scooters do slip up the side of larger vehicles, so don't attempt to cross near lorries or buses. St Agnello centre is within a 10 minute walk and has a chemist, several local shops, a supermarket and a station which runs between Sorrento and Naples. Sorrento port offers boats to Naples or across to the islands. You can't see the coast from the hotel, but a 5 minute walk to the end of the road provides a magnificent view of the Sorrentine peninsula as well as Vesivius and Naples opposite. Sorrento is the home of limoncello, and you will it for sale everywhere. Try before you buy.
