We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel. Our family room was spacious and comfortable, making our visit truly enjoyable. The staff were exceptionally accommodating and friendly, always ready to assist with anything we needed. A special thank you to Rebecca, who kept our room immaculate with great attention to detail. I truly appreciated her warm and welcoming nature, as well as our lovely conversations—her local recommendations for shopping and dining were invaluable! Overall, a wonderful experience, and we would gladly return.

Great location, a bit small and worn rooms. But we had a nice view from our window. Service was great and breakfast was OK. Big plus for having The Bishops Arms in the same building. Close to restaurants and shopping. Took a nice morning run along the water. Friendly and helpful staff. Will return.

I must confess that when I booked an economy single room I thought the room size stated on the booking confirmation (a little less than 5 square meters) was a calculation error because I can't imagine a room of this size especially in Sweden where most males are 6 foot and taller. The room was indeed tiny and contrary to the room description it did not face any winter garden. The room also had no kettle which is especially unexpected in Scandinavia. It did have amenities that are in my opinion not needed and they also take up space which as you can imagine was very limited. These include a mini bar, a phone and a small safe which means there is no storage space except for t shirts on the hangers. There is also a decorative blanket on top of the bed which I am especially not fond of as these rarely if ever get washed and in such a confined space they are probably tossed on the floor behind the bed by most guests. The service is very friendly but I think the hotel over sells itself starting with its name and the description which suggests opulence and old world charm which in a tiny room with a 2 meter ceiling and a window to an inner courtyard is amusing. Breakfast is nothing to write home about. It has the basics (including ecological eggs) but the quality of the bread is low and it leans more towards the Anglo-American junk food culture (ie pancakes from powder mix, cookies with low quality chocolate spread and colourful candies some ignorant parents were feeding their children with etc.) than it does a wholesome Nordic breakfast. On my next stay in Norrkoping I will continue to admire the lovely building of the hotel from afar.
