Elite Hotel Esplanade

This is a wonderful hotel in the heart of Malmo, only a 7 minute walk from the train station. There are many different restaurants, shops, plazas, and attractions a few steps from the front door. The hotel is modern, cozy and clean. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, especially the restaurant staff. The breakfast was delicious and had a nice variety of food options. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed for 2 nights late July as a family with 2 small children. + excellent location - stone's throw away from Lilla Torg and short walk to train station and castle + breakfast - high quality compared to usual standards (no coffee machine in the restaurant though, but pod machines in the rooms) + spacious and comfortable rooms with excellent AC. Ample space for families and luggage + kids made to feel special with goody bags and other nice touches - very few - possibly the fact that later breakfast sittings may have to wait for a table to become free during peak season, but this seemed to be short This was our first stay in an Elite hotel, and overall, I'd recommend this hotel to all, but particularly families with young children.

Best things first: amazing location, great staff, very good and varied breakfast. Things to improve: our room was the standard room. The shower system was such that every time we showered the floor would get wet. The pillow menu was hidden in the closet. The day we arrived there was no body wash in the shower and I had to let the reception know the following day, as housekeeping did not notice the second day either. The curtains were very difficult to open. Overall it was a very good experience, the hotel looks modern and it looks like they are putting a lot of effort into making it as modern as possible.
