Elite Hotel Knaust

Everything was perfect, with a few pleasant surprises. The building has that epic feel—classic old-world hotel charm. The room was top notch. Service was spot on, handled by friendly and helpful Swedes. The room had everything you could need, and even a few thoughtful touches I hadn’t seen before—like a sewing kit!

This hotel is located smack in the middle of sundsvall. Walking distance to everything lite bus, train and the actual city. Charming hotel with a older feel to it. Rooms can feel a little small but everything else about this hotel makes up for it. Staff is amazing, we got greeted by Agnes, she was beyond amazing and made our stay absolutely perfect. We also enjoyed the lounge and the coffee. Breakfast buffet was okay with a lot of options. We will be coming back for sure!

Historical hotel in the middle of Sundsvall featuring a very grand and impressive staircase (ask the staff for the horse story). Considering the price tag and the business hotel status, there are a few considerations to make. The rooms are tiny, no way around it. And by tiny I mean that, if you have a less than small suitcase, you are not going to be able to walk around. There is no real space for working, if you’re staying for business purposes. Complete lack of electrical outlets by the bed. The bathroom is very nice though and it has floor heating. The breakfast is also a bit disappointing, on weekends it runs up to 10:30 but at 10 there is no more coffee or warm items. Staff is super nice, but facilities could be better
