We arrived around 11am to the hotel. We were greeted with waters and comfortable seating area. Our room was 30 min from being ready so we were sent to the restaurant on site. The service was impeccable and the food perfect. Crepes for the kids and cheese and bread were delicious. The staff made it very obvious they wanted to take care of us. I didn’t catch anyone’s names but the two front desk gentleman were amazing and the staff at the restaurant is what takes this place above and beyond. The gentleman in the restaurant was amazingly hospitable. Not sure if it was because we had a suite but once our room was ready they have complimentary waters, coffee, wine, snacks in the room. Our room was perfectly located. Slightly noisy for a brief moment at night due to location to street below but after 10pm it became quiet. This hotel is perfect in every way. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here next time in Rome. Thank you again.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. We were lucky enough to stay at the Elizabeth Unique for our trip to Rome. Right from the moment you enter the doors the staff were amazing. Everyone was so kind, friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean and they include a complimentary mini bar with waters and juices and snacks that are replaced daily. The bathroom was spacious with a lovely shower. I would like to give a special mention to the breakfast which was delicious every morning. I highly recommend the French toast which was delicious! We would like to give a special thank you to the breakfast team who were so friendly and helped my partner organise his proposal to me on the terrace! It was a very special trip and I can’t wait to return! 😃 - Jade and Gavin

I had a very unpleasant experience at Elizabeth Unique Hotel in Rome, and I’m genuinely surprised this property is rated as a 5-star hotel. From the outset, the service was underwhelming. Check-in was handled by a single receptionist, and I had to wait an unreasonably long time before being assisted. Despite the extreme heat (40°C), no water was offered and no apology was made for the delay — a small but telling detail that reflected a general lack of guest care throughout my stay. The room I was given was directly in front of the reception area. It was noisy, poorly soundproofed, and had an unpleasant odor. When I asked to be moved to another room, no effort was made to find an alternative or to accommodate the request in any way. More concerning was the fact that a personal item — a T-shirt — went missing after housekeeping serviced the room on the second day. There was no apology or support offered by the staff. While the item had financial value, its sentimental significance made the loss particularly frustrating, especially during a work trip where I had packed only essential items. Following my complaint at check-out, I received a message stating that the T-shirt had been found in the laundry and would be shipped to me. What I received, however, was a plastic bag containing a wrinkled, rolled-up Fruit of the Loom T-shirt — clearly not mine. I followed up to point out the mistake, but received no response. In summary, the level of service, attentiveness, and overall guest experience did not reflect what one would reasonably expect from a 5-star hotel. I would not choose to stay here again, nor would I recommend it.
